Uncorrupted Books:-
The Quran asserts in several verses that the Torah and Gospels are the Words of Allah.
The Quran also asserts, that the Torah is incorruptible and an original version is written on tablets with Allah.
The Quran further declares that it, itself, is also the uncorruptible Words of Allah.
Unfortunately, the Quranic versions of events, characters, names, places and dates are almost totally at variance and incompatible with the same items in their original form in the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament.
It is blasphemous, illogical and irrational to imply, that the Almighty created TWO different and contradictory TRUE versions of the same events, characters, places and dates.
The Hebrew Bible was written and documented centuries before Muhammad and his Quran, in several languages, in different countries, on different continents by different civilizations and cultures while the Quran is a very recent compilation of uncorroborated and unwritten versions of events.
One does not have to be a genius to conclude, that either the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament were deliberately altered at least two thousand and six hundred years respectively before Muhammad and his Quran, or, that the Quran is the untrue version of the previous Books and hence cannot have been or be the words of Allah, if Allah is the God of Israel.
2: 113 The Jews say: "The Christians have naught (to stand) upon"; and the Christians say: "The Jews have naught (to stand) upon." Yet they (profess to) study the (same) Book. Like unto their word is what those say who know not but Allah will judge between them in their quarrel on the Day of Judgment.
*** The Quran ridicules the controversies between the Jews and the Christians regarding their religious beliefs without differentiating between the New Testament and the Hebrew Bible by wrongly identifying them as if they were one and the same book.
The New Testament is only an addendum to the Torah because the Christian Bible is comprised of the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament. The quarrels between the 'Jews' and Christians reside upon the New Testament ONLY and not upon the Hebrew Bible.
In this verse, the Quran is only pointing out the disagreements between the two religions without implying that either of the books are TEXTUALLY corrupted ***
2: 136 Say ye: "We believe in Allah and the revelation given to us and to Abraham Isma`il Isaac Jacob and the Tribes and that given to Moses and Jesus and that given to (all) Prophets from their Lord we make no difference between one and another of them and we bow to him (Allah) in Islam."
*** The Quran again declares, that the followers of Muhammad are to believe in all of the writings of the previous prophets, both of the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament***
3: 2 Allah! there is no god [ilah] but He the Living the Self-Subsisting Eternal. 3 It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step) in truth the Book confirming what went before it; and He sent down Law (Of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this as a guide to mankind and He sent down the Criterion (of judgment between right and wrong).
*** The Quran declares that Allah did not only send the Book [Torah] to Moses but also the Gospels to Jesus. These two Books, together are stated to be
"a guide to Mankind…" and are not corrupted otherwise the Quran would NOT have included them as DIVINELY REVEALED BOOKS.
All the verses shown here, completely negate the later desperately invented allegations by Muhammadan scholars that the Torah and New Testament have been corrupted, since if they were, Muhammad would not have instructed his followers to believe in them.
Muhammad and his Quran are as usual in manifest error when they assert that Allah sent the Gospels to Jesus since the Gospels were only written long after Jesus was dead and Allah had absolutely nothing to do with them.
It is also very important to point out that Allah is NOT GOD but the NAME of a god; Allah is the name of the supreme pagan rock god of the Ka'ba, the Black Stone, that is why the beginning of the verse states "Allah! there is no god [ilah] but he..." ***
5: 44 It was We who revealed [descended] the law [Taurat] (to Moses); therein was guidance and light. By its standard have been judged the Jews by the Prophets who bowed (as in Islam ) to Allah's will by the Rabbis and the doctors of Law: for to them was entrusted the protection of Allah's Book and they were witnesses thereto: therefore fear not men but fear Me and sell not My Signs for a miserable price. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed they are (no better than) unbelievers
*** The Quran is telling its followers that the Jews were entrusted with protecting and preserving Allah's Book (the Torah), and there is absolutely no indication given here or anywhere else in the Quran that they had failed their trust nor that the Bible itself is corrupted.
The Quran condemns only those who misrepresent the Torah or mistanslate and or deliberately misinterpret the maening of some of its verses ***
5: 48 To thee We sent [descended] the Scripture in truth confirming the scripture that came before it and guarding it in safety; so judge between them by what Allah hath revealed and follow not their vain desires diverging from the truth that hath come to thee. To each among you have We prescribed a Law and an Open Way. If Allah had so willed He would have made you a single people but (His plan is) to test you in what He hath given you: so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to Allah; it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which ye dispute.
*** Allah is declaring that all previous revelations are guarded safely by him and preserved from change and corruption.
There are no verses in the Quran that allege that the scriptural texts of the Torah or the New Testament were altered or corrupted by the Jews or the
Christians ***
5: 68 Say: "O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law[Taurat] the Gospel and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith
69 Those who believe (in the Qur'an) those who follow the Jewish (Scriptures) and the Sabians and the Christians any who believe in Allah and the Last Day and work righteousness on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve.
*** The Quran is asserting that if the followers of Moses and of Jesus were to adhere to the rules and regulations of the Torah and the New Tesatment, they would be Rightly Guided in Allah's will and would be blessed in this life as well as being admitted to Paradise, just like the believing followers of Muhammad.
There are no differences between the revelations. They are all Allah's will.
What is beyond comprehension in this verse is the fact that Muhammad
- the pure monotheist - declares that the pagan Sabians and the Trinitarian Christians are equal to the Muhammadan Muslims in their monotheism ***
6: 154 Moreover We gave Moses the Book completing (Our favor) to those who would do right and explaining all things in detail and a guide and a mercy that they might believe in the meeting with their Lord.
*** The Quran declares that the Book of the Jews is from Allah, uncorrupted***
17: 2 We gave Moses the Book and made it a Guide to the Children of Israel (commanding): "Take not other than Me as Disposer of (your) affairs."
*** The Quran is declaring that Israel was commanded to follow the revelations of Allah contained in the Book of Moses ***
32: 23 We did indeed aforetime give the Book to Moses: be not then in doubt of its reaching (thee): and We made it a guide to the Children of Israel. 24 And We appointed from among them Leaders giving guidance under Our command so long as they persevered with patience and continued to have faith in Our Signs.
*** The Quran declares that Israel was commanded to follow the revelations of Allah contained in the Book of Moses the contents of which will later inspire Muhammad and his followers.
There is not the slightest hint that the Quran, in any of its verses, intimates or makes the accusation that the text of the Book (Bible) itself is corrupted, especially since it uses these Books as WITNESSES to the VERACITY of the Quran itself ***
Sunan of Abu-DawoodHadith 4434 Narrated byAbdullah Ibn Umar
A group of Jews came and invited the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) to Quff. So he visited them in their school. They said: AbulQasim, one of our men has committed fornication with a woman; so pronounce judgment upon them.
They placed a cushion for the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) who sat on it and said: Bring the Torah. It was then brought. He then withdrew the cushion from beneath him and placed the Torah on it saying:
I believed in thee and in Him Who revealed thee.
He then said: Bring me one who is learned among you. Then a young man was brought.
The transmitter then mentioned the rest of the tradition of stoning similar to the one transmitted by Malik from Nafi'(No. 4431).
*** This is one of the most remarkable Hadiths since it shows that Muhammad actually RESPECTED & VENERATED the Torah to such an extent, that he would not sit on the cushion but had the Torah rest on it.
This Hadith alone DESTROYS any and ALL allegations that the TEXT of the Torah had been TAMPERED with BEFORE the arrival of Muhammad on the stage of history ***
